From its very beginnings, SWIETELSKY recognized that rail transport is unrivaled from both an economic and environmental perspective. Thus, the company gradually evolved from a pioneer in road construction to a pioneer in rail construction as well. Today, we are the European leader in this sector and carry out state-of-the-art rail infrastructure projects.

We focus on solutions that have proven themselves in practice. We work cost-effectively, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest possible quality standards. To achieve this goal, we continuously invest in expertise, digital processes, and the industry’s most advanced machinery.

Innovative railway equipment, modern service facilities

Our key technical facilities are located at our modern service centers. The mechanical and logistical heart of the entire group is the facility in Fischamend, Austria, which features a certified workshop for railway machinery and the group’s facilities for developing innovative solutions.

In the Czech Republic, we built a service center in Hněvice in 2025, which provides repairs, maintenance, and inspections for track machinery and rail vehicles. The extensive facility, with its own rail infrastructure, specialized workshops, and a team of experienced experts, enables us to provide comprehensive services not only for SWIETELSKY’s needs but also for external customers.

Top-quality aggregate for railroad construction

Kámen Litice is an important part of SWIETELSKY’s Czech railway infrastructure in the area of aggregate supply for railroad infrastructure. The quarry in Litice nad Orlicí produces certified aggregate, and thanks to its direct connection to a railroad spur, it enables efficient and environmentally friendly transportation of materials. Modern technological equipment and a focus on quality also prepare the operation for the demands of future high-speed rail lines.

In-house rail transport

Thanks to our in-house rail transport service provider, we achieve maximum efficiency and ensure smooth and reliable operations. In cooperation with our own licensed rail transport company, RTS – Rail Transport Service, we manage the entire logistics chain ourselves. This complete control allows us to execute projects with maximum efficiency, precision, and safety, and guarantees our logistical independence when carrying out our projects throughout Europe.

Within the Czech Republic, we provide rail transport using our own resources through our Cargo division. We also offer rail transport services to external customers.
