Renovation of the Lovosice Railway Station

In mid-2024, passengers in Lovosice were able to use renovated platforms that allow for more comfortable boarding of trains. Thanks to barrier-free modifications and the extension of the underpass, access to the platforms has also improved.

Thanks to the renovation, all platforms at the Lovosice station now meet the standard height of 550 mm above the tracks, ensuring passengers can board modern trains more comfortably. As part of the renovation, new roofing and lighting were also installed on the platforms. Barrier-free access to the platforms, which previously could only be reached by stairs, is now provided by newly installed elevators from the underpass.

The underpass itself underwent a complete renovation and was extended under the entire station to Máchova Street, connecting the two parts of the city. The track bed around the platforms also underwent partial reconstruction, and a completely new information and wayfinding system for passengers was installed.
