Bicycle Path near Záhorovice and Bojkovice

In early 2024, we completed a new 875-meter-long bicycle path near the Moravian villages of Záhorovice and Bojkovice. The construction was divided into three sections due to the route running through two cadastral areas and a challenging longitudinal gradient, reaching 12% in the steepest section.

The three-meter-wide path for pedestrians and cyclists is designed in close proximity to the Olšava River. A requirement of the investor, the City of Bojkovice, was to allow for the unimpeded movement of maintenance vehicles from Povodí Moravy, which led to the construction of access ramps to the river.

An interesting feature of the entire project was the laying of the cement-concrete surface, which was not done mechanically but instead utilized formwork technology.
