We have strengthened our machinery fleet with a truly powerful partner – the top-class milling machine WIRTGEN WR 250i, which significantly expands our technological capabilities in road reconstruction and modifications. This 32-ton colossus pushes the boundaries in the processing of road layers and allows for high performance and significant savings in time and materials.
The milling machine can handle a cutting depth of up to 560 mm. It is equipped with a powerful milling and mixing rotor, which can mill existing road layers in a single working step, while also precisely dosing water and asphalt emulsion or other binders and immediately homogeneously mixing the entire mixture. This enables the cold recycling technology, which is an ideal solution for reusing the original material directly on site – without the need for transport, landfilling, or bringing in new raw materials.
Old layers are recycled, reprofiled, improved with suitable binders, and subsequently serve as a base for the new surface layer. The result is a new, stable, and load-bearing structural layer ready for the installation of the cover. Quickly, efficiently, and with regard to the environment – and that is the direction we want to take.
