SWIETELSKY construction defended its title in the "TOP Construction Company of the Year" competition. After last year's success, it has once again become the TOP construction company, this time for the year 2023. The competition is unique in that the ranking is determined by the votes of 416 public procurers.
“The TOP construction company has been announced by CEEC Research since 2012. The largest construction companies in the country participate, which have completed the most contracts for public procurers in the past year. They evaluate individual players based on simple criteria according to their satisfaction with the duration of execution, the price for the final work, or the quality of construction. Construction companies take our award very seriously and perceive it as a huge prestige,” said Michal Vacek, director of CEEC Research, regarding the evaluation of the competition.
SWIETELSKY construction finished first with an average score of 1.69 ahead of the second company Strabag (1.70) and third Colas CZ (1.85). Only nine companies had a better score than 2.
The award was presented at Prague Castle during the June ceremonial Meeting of Leaders of Czech Construction by the Minister for Regional Development Ivan Bartoš, and another government member, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Marián Jurečka, was also present.
“As can be seen, tight differences by hundredths decide not only in sports but also in this respected competition. Of course, this does not take away our joy. Being consistently among the best is a reaffirmation for us that we are betting on the right values and corporate culture. It means that our final product, attitude, and reliability are still at the highest level. And we will certainly build on these principles in the coming months and years. I thank all my colleagues for their great work,” evaluated the result Radim Čáp, managing director of the company.
“The repeated highest award for our company makes me very, very happy. It is not just an award for our work over the past few years, but an award for the successful, more than thirty-year journey of SWIETELSKY in the Czech and Slovak Republics. This award largely belongs to those who have significantly contributed to building our success for decades and are now enjoying a well-deserved retirement. I believe this wonderful news finds them in full strength and health. Once again, I thank everyone for their great work,” said Jiří Kozel, managing director of the company.
