SWIETELSKY continues to implement its commitments to environmental sustainability and increasing energy efficiency in operations, this time at the U Hada site in České Budějovice. The newly installed photovoltaic power plant is another step towards more sustainable operations for the company.
The new photovoltaic power plant was created on the roof of the operational building at the site, which houses the company's offices and the SWIETELSKY formwork rental. The technology consists of 195 solar panels, each with a capacity of 430 Wp. The storage has 20 batteries with a total capacity of 71 kWh. Overall, the power plant is expected to produce approximately 70 MWh of electricity annually and will become a significant energy source for the entire site.
The project is co-financed by the European Union through the emissions trading system via the Modernization Fund.
SWIETELSKY construction company, which aims to be a leader in responsible and sustainable investment practices, already operates two photovoltaic power plants: at its headquarters in České Budějovice on Pražská Street and at the site in Ejpovice in the Plzeň region. It is now commissioning a third, and soon a power plant will also be established at the facility in Kájov in the Český Krumlov region, where its implementation is already in full swing. All installations have been carried out on the roofs of buildings, thus eliminating the use of agricultural land while maximizing the use of existing areas. The company is preparing more similar projects, fulfilling its vision of sustainable development.
