At the end of last year, we, the Swieteláci, handed over the first section of the newly constructed Sugar Factory Cycle Path Vyškov–Kozlany to the municipality of Hlubočany.
This cycle path approximately follows the now-defunct narrow-gauge railway, which transported sugar beets to the Vyškov sugar factory from 1906 to 1961.
The newly completed two-kilometer section will be supplemented in the spring with another approximately 500 meters, creating a cohesive partial section of the entire planned cycle path – the Hlubočany I section.
The construction is being carried out by our Brno area of the Transport Construction MORAVA company.
