We at Swieteláci managed to complete the first phase of storage areas for KONE Industrial in Ústí nad Labem within six months.
We are now working on the second phase, which should be completed by the end of April this year, thus providing KONE with more space for storing materials.
The work involved the construction of a new roadway, storm drainage, cable conduits, connections, and site lighting. During this work, we first had to remove the existing concrete areas with paving stones, including structural layers, and then stabilize the ground surface. Our colleagues had to deal with poor geological conditions, as the clayey soil poorly absorbed water during heavy rains, complicating the work.
The construction is being carried out by our colleagues from the Louny area of the Transport Construction WEST plant in cooperation with the Karlovy Vary area, which was responsible for the laying. The RECYCLING plant was in charge of soil stabilization.
