A solar power plant with a capacity of up to 130 kWp has been built on the grounds of the Kájov asphalt mixing plant, which is operated by SWIETELSKY stavební in the Český Krumlov region. The panels are installed on the roofed aggregate stockpiles and on the roof of the operations building, so the project makes use of existing areas on the site and does not occupy any additional land. The electricity generated will primarily be used to meet the aggregate plant’s own energy needs.

This is already the fourth photovoltaic project by SWIETELSKY stavební, through which the company continues to pursue its sustainable approach to business. Investments in its own renewable energy sources contribute to reducing emissions, more efficient use of resources, and more responsible operation of individual sites.

The project is co-financed by the European Union as part of the National Recovery Plan through the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.
