Seminar Rail 02

At the end of February, a seminar on railway engineering was held at the VOŠ and SPŠ in Děčín, focusing on modern railway superstructure and substructure designs. This professional event, with a long-standing tradition, provided an opportunity to share the latest findings and practical experience, as well as to discuss the future development of railway infrastructure.

Seminar Rail 03

The seminar was designed as a series of technical presentations covering a wide range of current topics. The program also included a lecture by our colleague Zbyněk Mynář, a specialist in railway substructures. In his presentation, he introduced SWIETELSKY’s high-performance track machines and focused on modern approaches to the mechanization of railway construction and practical experience from completed projects.

Throughout the day, participants learned about developments in railway track substructure and superstructure in the coming years, the possibilities for digitizing the diagnostics of critical track sections, the integration of safety systems with infrastructure, as well as new approaches to mechanization, manual tamping, and the use of modern materials and structural solutions.

Participation in the seminar provided valuable insights for the further professional development of our teams and confirmed the importance of sharing experience and knowledge within the industry.

The seminar is also part of the continuing education program for licensed engineers and technicians in the construction industry in the Czech Republic.
