After an extensive several-month reconstruction, the fifty-meter pool in Plzeň na Slovanech is reopened.
During the modernization, we equipped it with thirty new starting blocks with timing systems meeting Olympic standards, which will surely be appreciated by all competitive swimmers. We also carried out the rehabilitation of the reinforced concrete supporting structure of the stands and completely replaced the floor with a new one that is resistant to demanding use. We also replaced the cleaning and overflow gutters, which were in a state of emergency.
By March 13, we will complete the second part of the reconstruction, which includes technical facilities, floors, walls, and railings. These works will take place without any operational restrictions.
