The Plzeň Swimming Pool Slovany has been modernized! It has undergone a several-month reconstruction, divided into two phases.
During the first phase, which required operational restrictions, we equipped the pool with thirty new starting blocks with timers meeting Olympic standards. We laid a new floor, adapted to demanding use, and carried out the rehabilitation of the reinforced concrete load-bearing structure of the stands. We also replaced the cleaning and overflow gutters, which were in a state of emergency.
In March, we also completed the second phase, which took place while the pool was fully operational. During this phase, we rehabilitated the reinforced concrete ceiling, repaired the floor in the stands, and replaced doors and metal constructions.
