The Pelhřimov traffic ring, specifically the section near the Radětínský pond, is back in operation after two months of reconstruction.
At the northern edge of the city, where roads I/19 and I/34 meet, a surface repair of the asphalt was carried out, the shoulders were repaired, ditches and culverts were cleaned, guardrails were reconstructed, and new traffic signs and directional posts were installed.
These modifications will help increase safety and smooth traffic flow on this busy section, which sees over 13 thousand vehicles daily, of which approximately 3 thousand are freight traffic. The road before reconstruction already showed a number of defects, including broken shoulders and deep corrosion of the pavement.
