In December of last year, we at Swieteláci managed to complete the demanding reconstruction of 9th May Street in Hostivice within a tight deadline of three months.
We excavated structural layers approximately 80 cm thick and built a new storm sewer with drainage practically along the entire length of the 400-meter reconstructed section. We also constructed a turnaround for garbage trucks, including a gabion retaining wall. We modified the bed of the adjacent stream, built new public lighting throughout the street, prepared conduits for ČEZ, repaired water shut-off valves, and constructed a retention tank from Stormbox system boxes, which was a pilot project in the Central Bohemian Region.
Finally, we only had a kilometer of curbs in the form of various driveways, parking spaces, and green islands, as well as 2000 m2 of concrete paving as the final surface of the reconstructed street.
The adherence to deadlines was appreciated by representatives of the municipality, who praised our team from the Prague area of the Transport Construction STŘED.
