Press Day at the Hodonín Marina

A press day was held at the Hodonín marina construction site. We confirmed that, despite the harsher winter conditions, work is proceeding according to schedule and the marina will be completed before the start of the Baťa Canal’s boating season on May 1, 2026.

Since construction began after the New Year, we have completed the installation of sheet piles, poured concrete for the main section of the pier, and laid the foundations for the rest area. We are now proceeding with the installation of precast facing panels, followed by the floating cantilevers.

Thanks to our intensive efforts, the project is on track to be completed by the target deadline. The result will be a marina with greater capacity for small vessels, safer operations, and better facilities for recreational boating and leisure activities by the water.

The ceremonial opening of the marina will take place on 1 May at 1:00 p.m. as part of the traditional opening of the Baťa Canal season. On the same day, at 10:00 a.m., our second project on the Baťa Canal — the Radějovka stream channel extension and the Rohatec–Sudoměřice lock — will also be ceremonially opened.
