Good planning and the team’s maximum effort paid off—we completed the road in Mutěnice a month ahead of schedule.
In less than three months, we replaced the asphalt surface on a 1.6-kilometer stretch, upgraded intersections, sidewalks, and drainage, and moved bus stops closer to crosswalks to make the road safer for both pedestrians and drivers.
This year’s heat wave really put a strain on our work, so we’re all the more pleased that we were able to reopen the road exactly when Mutěnice needed it most—at the start of the school year. We saved the ribbon-cutting ceremony, however, for last week.
