Gotthardská Residence won the main award in the Building of the Year competition of Prague. This is a great surprise and honor for us.
The expert jury visited all the submitted buildings in person, as they know well that no videos or plans can replace a personal visit. In strong competition with 51 excellent projects, the jury decided that our Gotthardská deserves the title. Therecognition was earned not only for the amazing architecture and approach to urbanism but also for the quality craftsmanship and precise execution.
The project was created as a new building, which is sensitively integrated into the popular location near Prague's Stromovka. We combined modern technologies with an emphasis on detail, comfort, and energy efficiency. Acoustics, shading, or heating? Everything was designed to ensure that the living space not only looks good but, above all, functions well.
Behind this unique result is a team of our colleagues who managed to reconcile the demanding requirements of the investor and architect with the everyday reality of construction. The award is feedback for us that what we do makes sense.
