The project is not only about increasing traffic capacity. It also includes measures that take the surrounding area and the project’s impact into account, such as noise barriers, new sections of cycle paths, and landscaping and planting works in the area.
SWIETELSKY is involved in the project as the contractor. The project is technically and organisationally demanding, not least because of the airport’s proximity and the heavy traffic load. This places even greater emphasis on careful coordination of the works, safety, and close cooperation with the client, the Roads and Motorways Directorate of the Czech Republic (ŘSD), the technical supervisor, and other partners.
The symbolic groundbreaking confirmed that the project has moved from the preparatory phase into implementation. What follows is the day-to-day work of people on site and behind the scenes to ensure that the project fulfils its purpose and progresses as smoothly as possible.
