The largest track-laying machine in Europe and the only operational device of its kind – that is our RUS 1000 S. It weighs over 670 tons and measures more than 170 meters, and when deployed with accompanying cars and special sleeper cars, the entire colossus measures over 800 meters! It requires 25 experienced operators to operate.
During the reconstruction of the railway line in the section Prostějov–Olomouc, thanks to the RUS 1000 S, the replacement of tracks and machine cleaning over a total length of 6200 meters was completed in just 5 working shifts. Because this machine line can perform track replacement, machine cleaning, and zero undercutting in one run, it can reduce the construction time to an absolute minimum.
The RUS 1000 S is undoubtedly a completely unique machine that we are rightly proud of!
