In the popular cycling destination, we are currently building another bike path.
By the end of the year, a new section of the bike path in Nymburk will be completed, which will significantly improve traffic flow on the bridge over the Old Elbe. In the past, especially during the summer months, crowds of cyclists and pedestrians crossed the bridge, which complicated traffic significantly. Therefore, as part of the bike path construction next to the bridge, a footbridge is being built, where all non-motorized traffic will be relocated.
The new section of the bike path will connect to the existing route, which will be completely reconstructed. Cyclists who have enjoyed the flat terrain of the Elbe Lowlands will thus pass through Nymburk a bit more comfortably.
