Our BRIDGES division is realizing a number of interesting bridge structures. Currently, for example, it is working on three bridge structures on the route of the future D3 highway in the section Nažidla – Dolní Dvořiště state border, which we are currently building in South Bohemia. And during the past weekend, we managed to solve a technological challenge here – placing an incredible 1800 m3 of concrete into the load-bearing structure in one go, without a technological break!
The concrete pouring was carried out on the highway bridge SO 217, which is located approximately in the middle of the constructed section of D3. A separate bridge structure will be built for each direction of the highway, and the substructure is being built for both bridges at the same time.
